Apple has introduced a new feature that allows users to easily see when their iPhones will charge to 80 percent, with this information conveniently displayed on the home screen. The iOS 26 update is packed with enhancements, including a significant redesign with Liquid glass, as well as various practical tools that may prove as impactful as these visual changes. Among these, a new intelligent battery saving feature named Adaptive Power is set to debut with the iOS 26 update, which iPhone users will soon need to activate on their devices. This marks a significant advancement for iPhone users, providing them with a dependable tool to examine their battery consumption and trends. The power-saving mode goes even further by indicating the precise remaining time until the iPhone reaches an 80 percent charge. This information will be displayed adjacent to the charging percentage viewable on the lock screen during charging.

As previously discussed, this feature presents numerous advantages. Users will gain insight into how long they need to keep their iPhones connected to a power source. Additionally, it will inform them about the charging speed of their current charger, enabling them to swap it out for a more efficient one if required. For instance, if someone is using a slower charger and sees that it will take eight minutes to reach 80 percent, they can easily opt for a different adapter to achieve quicker charging. But the enhancements don’t stop there.
