Fans have been eagerly anticipating the year's most significant film showdown featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr in Ayan Mukerji's War 2. On Tuesday, in celebration of NTR Jr's birthday, the creators released the long-awaited teaser for War 2. Hrithik is set to return as RAW agent Major Kabir Dhaliwal, while NTR Jr makes his much-anticipated Hindi film debut in the lead role. The teaser opens with a voiceover from NTR Jr, who reveals his excitement to meet Kabir, referring to him as “India’s finest soldier and the best agent of RAW.” He notes that even as he observes Kabir closely, the latter remains oblivious to his presence. In a menacing statement, Jr NTR cautions, “You may not know me yet, but soon you will,” suggesting an intense showdown is on the horizon. Following this, the teaser highlights adrenaline-pumping combat scenes between Jr NTR and Hrithik, set against stunning international backdrops. Additionally, there is a fleeting look at Kiara Advani in a bikini, hinting at a romantic angle involving her character and Hrithik’s Kabir. The teaser culminates with Jr NTR declaring, “Prepare yourself for War.”

Available in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. @advani_kiara AyanMukerji @yrf YRFSpyUniverse.” War 2 marks the sixth film in Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, with an expansion on the horizon featuring the forthcoming Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. The 2019 movie War, directed by Siddharth Anand and co-starring Tiger Shroff, was a major box office success. War 2 is billed as an even more ambitious sequel, surpassing its predecessor. Its action scenes were shot across six countries: Italy, Spain, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Russia, and Mumbai. Speculation remains about potential cameo appearances from other stars within the YRF spy universe, although the producers have remained tight-lipped on the matter.
