Narendra Modi Advises Putin to Speak to his Ukrainian Counterpart

India has been against the war between Russia and Ukraine. Indian Prime Minister Narendra conducted various meetings after the war between both the nations started. Narendra Modi revealed about the neutral stand of India about the war during his virtual meeting with the American President Joe Biden. Modi spoke about India's contribution about the relief material and the medicines for Ukraine. He also revealed that India condemned Russia's aggressive attack against the Ukrainian civilians in Bucha. He expressed that the countries will end up in peace. He also said that Modi spoke to both the leaders and urged them to talk directly.

"I spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I urged both of them to talk directly. I hope there would be peace in their talks very soon" told Modi. Narendra Modi participated in a virtual meet that was initiated by the United States of America. Several USA leaders revealed that they are not comfortable with the neutral move of India. There were debates about India purchasing oil from Russia even after USA mounting pressure on other leaders of the globe. US President Joe Biden told that India is an exception among the allies of Washington on March 21st. Biden welcomed India's humanitarian support for Ukraine which is suffering badly because of the war.
