Nandamuri Balakrishna has been on a break currently after working without breaks for over a year. The actor even underwent shoulder surgery and is recovering from it. He is overlooking the pre-production work of his next film titled NTR, the biopic of his father Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The film will start shooting from March 29th in Hyderabad and the makers are keen on releasing NTR for Sankranthi 2019. Vidya Balan is in talks to play the female lead in the movie and Balakrishna’s home banner Brahma Teja Films will produce the film.

Balakrishna has been in talks with top director Boyapati Srinu from some time and the political thriller will kick-start later this year once the top director wraps up Ram Charan’s project. The film has been aimed for release right before 2019 elections during summer. Now the latest update says that the film will be launched officially on June 10th on the occasion of Balakrishna’s birthday. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments will bankroll this prestigious project.
