Thanks to SS Rajamouli, Prabhas turned a pan Indian actor and his last movie Saaho got a wide release all over. The film ended up as a dud and right from the script to the looks of Prabhas, everything got criticized. The actor turned extra cautious for his upcoming project Jaan which is a periodic drama and planned on a huge budget. Radha Krishna Kumar is the director and the first schedule of Jaan got wrapped up in Europe.

Prabhas who is on a break wanted to join the shoot from November 18th but the shoot of the film is yet to start. There are talks that Prabhas is not completely convinced with the script and he decided to delay the shoot. Prabhas is not in a rush and he decided to bounce back at any cost. The shoot of Jaan starts right after Prabhas gets completely convinced with the final draft. The film is a romantic drama set during 1970s and Pooja Hegde is the leading lady. Prabhas too is on a weightloss mission. UV Creations and Gopikrishna Movies are jointly producing this project that will release next year.
