The Chinese smartphone giant has launched the much awaited latest model Mi 4i in New Delhi this evening. The price tag has been fixed at Rs. 12,999, the phone will be available on Flipkart from April 30.
The device is sporting 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 second gen. processor and a 2 GB RAM. The Android Lollipop operating system is the best feature.
The device is just 7.8 mm thick, which is 12 percent thinner than that of Mi 4, and the weight is 130 grams which is 13 % lighter than Mi 4. The 3120 mAh battery gives good talk time. It allows 40 percent charge in 10 minutes. The device is available in 5 colours - black, white, orange, light blue and pink.
Launching the phone, Hugo Barra, VP, Xiaomi Global, said the phone has a fully laminated OGS, comes with sunlight display that enhances images. It is 30 per cent more power efficient, he said.
The smartphone is coming with 16 GB internal memory. The camera is an additional feature of the device, 13 MP main camera and 5 Mp front camera, for high quality selfies. Both the SIMS are compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G.
