Global IT giant Accenture launched a cyber centre in Bengaluru, India to expend its global security presence. The company said that, the centre will be helpful to tackle complex security challenges.
It is Accenture’s largest cyber security facility in its global delivery network. It includes over 50 facilities, that employ nearly 3,400 security specialists.
Bill Phelps, the operations managing director of Accenture, said in a statement, that, "The new centre will be a hub for continuous, collaborative innovation melding the combined brain power of our clients' teams, Accenture's security and industry specialists as well as university and ecosystem alliance partners. Together we can replace vulnerability with capability."
"The cyber centre is the largest cyber-security facility in the Accenture Global Delivery Network, which includes more than 50 facilities," it added.
Mr. Manish Sharma, Senior Managing Director, Delivery and Solution Development, Accenture Operations, said that, “As we help our clients become digital businesses, we must also help them protect their critical data and infrastructure, and become more resilient.”
