About this Event

Samskriti Foundation proudly presents 'TEJAS' - new dimensions in Bharatanatyam by the dynamic dancer-couple, Viraja Mandhre and Shyamjith Kiran (alumni of Kalakshetra, Chennai). Viraja & Shyamjith will be presenting their new and exciting choreographies focusing on 'innovation within tradition.' They have completed both their undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in Dance from the hallowed Kalakshetra, the temple of fine arts in Chennai, India. Their dance performance will be preceded by a Music concert by the 'Samskriti Music Ensemble' presenting Samskriti's signature repertory in Carnatic Music.
